More than 20,000 young doctors checked people's post-COVID-19 health


On the morning of May 14, the Viet Nam Youth Federation’s Central Committee held the launching ceremony of the journey “Young doctors follow Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for public health in 2022 – Post-COVID-19 health care” in Hue province.

The journey in 2022 is expected to attract more than 20,000 young doctors across the country to participate in in-person and online medical consultation through a platform using artificial intelligence. More than 1,000,000 people will receive medical examination, counseling and care after COVID-19 and more than 3,000,000 people will receive health advice via phone and telehealth app.

Within the framework of the journey, organizers will deploy training courses to equip 100,000 volunteers with nutritional counseling and knowledge on disease prevention; mobilize members and the youth to donate 50,000 units of blood and encourage 1,000,000 members to regularly exercise to follow Uncle Ho, respond to the call of the World Health Organization, to walk 10,000 steps feet every day.

On this occasion, organizers gave 10 gifts to people and families with difficult circumstances (2.000.000d/gift) and 10 tablets to poor students overcoming difficulties (1.500.000d/tablet); awarded 20 scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties (1.000.000d/scholarship).

The result of the program will be the most beautiful contributions to celebrate the 132th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; the most specific and practical achivements of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, especially the young medical force contributing to the community and society; and those will also be the most meaningful gifts to successfully celebrate the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
