The 2022 Ly Tu Trong Award to 94 typical representatives of the HCYU cadres nationwide

On the evening of March 23rd, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) held a national commendation ceremony to honour 94 outstanding HCYU cadres with the 2022 Ly Tu Trong Award towards the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26th, 1931 - March 26th, 2022).

Mr. Do Van Chien - Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, Chairman of the Central CPV Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee presented the Ly Tu Trong Award to outstanding members of the Youth Union.

The Ly Tu Trong Award is a noble award presented by the HCYU Central Committee to the Secretary of the HCYU chapter; Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the HCYU grassroots level; HCYU cadres who directly work in youth unions and movements at district level wirh excellent achievements in study, work and youth union work and movements.

The 94 outstanding representatives of the HCYU who received the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2022 are not only examples with excellent achievements in professional work but they are always impulsive, pioneering, bringing their youth to unite, gather and arouse young people's desire for dedication. From their enthusiasm, creativity and bravery, many effective models have been deployed to attract young people to contribute to the social community, especially in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.


The 2022 Ly Tu Trong award ceremony will be held in person and online format with the main bridge at the headquarters of the HCYU Central Committee and 45 bridge points in the provinces and cities. In addition to the delegates who were awarded prizes at the main bridge, the Secretariat of the HCYU Central Committee authorized the Standing Committees of the provinces and cities to organize the awarding of Ly Tu Trong awards to typical local officials of the Youth Union.

Mr. Dang Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the HCYU chapter of the Ho Chi Minh City Police  said that in 2021, Ho Chi Minh City experienced an extremely complicated and dangerous epidemic. Some of his comrades died on the anti-epidemic front. However, turning fear into strength, Mr. Thang enthusiastically took the lead in mobilizing a large number of young people to participate in epidemic prevention and control. “As a member of youth union, pioneering must come first. When people need the youth the most, we don't mind anything”, He emphasized.
