Web.HCYU.31/3/2020. In the morning of March 31st, The Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association (VYPA) donated two ventilators, an isolation negative pressure room and thousands of protective suits and N95 masks to support the front line of the Covid-19 epidemic prevention.

On behalf of benefactors: Shoppee Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Tien Duong's Meditation Club, Ms. Vu Hoang Yen and other benefactors, the delegation of the VYPA donated two emergency ventilators worth 1,200,000,000.00 VND for the Central Tropical Hospital; an isolation negative pressure room for Bach Mai Hospital; 8,404 standard protective suits and 11,347 standard N95 masks for 10 hospitals, Team 155 and medical centers in Hanoi.

Talking with the delegation, leaders of the medical units expressed their emotion when receiving the timely caring and sharing of the VYPA with the doctors and physicians at the front line in the fight against COVID-19 disease.

Prof. Ph.D. Tran Van Thuan - Chairman of the VYPA, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation said that they would continue to mobilize support for hospitals, medical centers and front line medical teams. Besides, the organization will promote the quality of young doctors, promote pioneering and volunteering role of youth nationwide, in order to combat and win this pandemic together.

This is an activity in the framework of the program "Joining hands to the fight against COVID-19 - For a healthy Vietnam", which will have been implemented around the country by the VYPA until Vietnam declares the epidemic ends.
