The mission of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union visited and gave gifts to officers, soldiers and local people in Quang Tri Province

Web.HCYU.05/01/2020. On January 3rd, 2020, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong Secretary of the HCYU, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization Central Committee led a mission to visit and give gifts to officers, soldiers and the local people in Quang Tri Province.

During the program, the mission visited and presented gifts to officials and soldiers at the Border Guard Station at Cua Viet Port Border Gate, Squadron 202 - Command of the Coast Guard Region 2; Visited and gave gifts to 02 families in difficult circumstances in Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province. The total value of the gifts is nearly 20 million VND.

This is a series of regular activities from the Secretariat of the HCYU and have  already been developed over ten years. This is the activity that shows the tight connection between the HCYU,  Borderlands security force and the local people.

 From this campaign, all levels of Youth Union also had many programs and activities to support and help border guard soldiers, people in border areas and islands. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong hoped that in the coming time, young soldiers and officers would participate more actively in the activities of the Youth Union, actively participate in the propagation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the policy of the State, crime prevention, complex social issues; take care and support the locals, including families of soldiers in the area with specific and practical activities.

On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, he sent his wishes to border officials, soldiers and people to welcome Tet with a lot of joy, happiness and health. At the same time, he also desired that officials and soldiers of the Border Guard station always uphold the quality of President Ho Chi Minh's soldiers, uphold the trust in the Party and successfully accomplish the sacred mission entrusted by the Party, Government, State and people.
