Launching the Journey "I Love My Country"

Web.HCYU.06/10/2019. In October 6th, at the National Historic Site Hung Temple (Phu Tho province), the Central Committee of Vietnam Youth Federation with the companion of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company and Thanh Nien Newspaper launched the journey "I Love My Country" for 2019. The ceremony was attended by more than 1,000 outstanding Vietnam Youth Federation members.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Alternate Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU), Chairman of  the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) said that the ceremony was a special event of the VYF  to celebrate its 63rd traditional day.

Started in 2014, "I Love My Country" has aroused the patriotism among Vietnamese youth, encouraging youth to determine their own responsibilities to their family, society and the Fatherland.

After 5 years, "I Love My Country" has been well received and enthusiastically joined by numerous Vietnamese youth. "I Love My Country” is not only a social movement, but also  an experience of pride for Vietnamese youth" , Mr. Le Quoc Phong said.

At the ceremony, delegates visited and showed gratitude to Hung Kings at Thuong Temple and laid flowers to the statue "Uncle Ho talks to the vanguard army".

"I Love My Country"  2019 will be held in all 63/63 provinces and cities across the country with activities such as visiting historical and cultural places; organizing the Youth Forum with the theme "I Love My Country"; ...

According to the plan, the next spot will be Ca Mau province (October 13), Ho Chi Minh City (October 20), Khanh Hoa Province (October 27), Kon Tum Province (November 3), Da Nang (November 10), Nghe An (November 17), Dien Bien (November 24) and Ha Giang (December 1). The Closing Ceremony will be held in Hanoi on December 10th, 2019, ahead of the 8th National  Congress of Vietnam Youth Federation, tenure 2019 - 2024.
