The Council of Young Pioneers at all levels should have specific solutions to well implement the theme of the school year

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU), Chairman of Central Council of Young Pioneers; Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Committee; Mr. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of Department of Children Affairs of HCYU, Vice Chairman of the Central Council; representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and deputies of the Council, Departments of Education and Training of 63 provinces and cities across the country.

During 2 days of the Conference, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs expressed their opinions about the implementation of children's rights and issues of child care, protection and education. In addition, representatives of the Young Pioneer Council of many provinces and cities introduced good models and effective ways to carry out the duties in the school year 2018 - 2019.

In addition to the results achieved in the 2018 - 2019 school year, the delegates pointed out some shortcomings such as: the implementation of the movement "Vietnamese children emulate to follow 5 things taught by Uncle Ho" at some localities have not met the requirements; Young Pioneers training programs in some localities have not been implemented synchronously; Young Pionerrs work in residential areas in a number of localities and units have not renewed the content and form of operation; School’s violence, abuse, accidents and child injuries are still complicated ...

In the 2019 - 2020 school year, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong asked the Council of all levels to folow the theme of the school year, focus on work and plans HCYU and Central Council of Young Pioneers (CCYP) . Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong also asked the Young Pioneers Council at all levels to focus on checking their regulations in order to adjust to match the circumstances.

At the Conference, HCYU Secretariat awarded certificates of merit to 21 units with outstanding achievements related to children affairs in the school year 2018 - 2019; CCYP awarded emulation flags to 21 leading units; awarded certificates of merit to 22 excellent units and 20 advanced units in children's movement in the school year 2018 - 2019.
