Launching the “Young Intellectuals for Education 2019” program
Web.HCYU.09/05/2019. On May 2nd, a press conference launching the "Young Intellectuals for Education Program" 2019 was held in Hanoi.
The “Young Intellectuals for Education 2019” program is being implemented by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, Thien Long Group and Tuoi Tre Newspaper in the period of 2016 – 2020, in order to organize activities which create an environment for young people and young intellectuals to implement and propose initiatives to contribute to the renovation of education and training. After 02 years of implementation, the program has received many initiatives that have been applied in practice and owned positive results.
The “Young Intellectuals for Education 2019” program continues to search for initiatives in three content groups: Innovation in teaching and studying methods; Invention in tools for teaching and learning, research purposes; Research works in field of educational science. Works and initiatives will be selected based on their novelty and feasibility by prestigious judges in the fields of teaching, education management and social criticism.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam National Union of Students said, in addition to the contents, the Organizing Committee will coordinate with the University of Education to implement the program through conferences on pedagogical science. Furthermore, the Organizing Committee will conduct a preliminary review of former years, in order to meet and listen to the winning authors in 2016, 2017, 2018. In addition, to encourage the participation of units, the Organizing Committee also decides to reward provincial youth union which have the largest number of applications.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy wished that media agencies would continue to actively propagate the contest, creating opportunities for young people to recognize this contest and to actualize their creative ideas.
