The imprint of glory

Web.HCYU. 27.07.2018 - On the occasions of the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day and 50th anniversary of the Dong Loc Victory, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organized a program called "The Imprint of Glory" in remembrance of martyrs and expressed gratitude to their families.

The youth unions’ leaders attending this event included Mr Le Quoc Phong, the first secretary of HCYU, Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan, permanent secretary and Mr Nguyen Ngoc Luong, the secretary of HCYU, along with nearly 500 representatives from the youth union units from provinces and cities.

Before organizing program’s activities, all the participants paid floral tributes to the late president Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square in Vinh city. In remembrance of his role as a leader of Vietnam, the youths made promise to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals and style, at the same time, promoting the pioneering spirits, solidarity, and creativity of Vietnamese youth towards national security and development.

Within the framework of the program, tributes were paid to all the soldiers and martyrs in Truong Bon National Historical Relic. The delegation expressed their sincere respect, deep gratitude to all the martyrs as well as praised them for their sacrifices in the war time.

On this occasion, the youth union presented 10 gifts to former pioneering youths who are in financial difficulty. Besides, Hanoi’s Youth Union donated a house worth 50 million for Nghe An province.
