Job fair for Vietnamese students in UK

Web.HCYU.26/11/2015. London – The first ever job fare for Vietnamese students studying in the United Kingdom with the participation of international companies operating their businesses in Vietnam. The workshop namely “Tour de Job” was held in Cass Business School, London on 21 November.

"Tour de Job" is a job related event organized by Vietnamese Student Association in the UK (SVUK) for those studying at British universities. There were several big names including KPMG, DELOITTE, UHY ACA, NAVIGOS STANDARD CHARTERED BANK, TECHCOMBANK, RUSSELL BEDFORD…

"Tour de Job" is a project initiated by Global Shapers Community in Hanoi. It supports young people and newly graduates in their job-seeking skills and improving career opportunities.    

At the event, participants exchanged with employers about their requirements and the profiles of the companies. In addition, the students can receive advice on their CV writing, interview tips and job search skills.

This is one of the series of SVUK’s meaningful activities on occasion of 10 year anniversary. Over the decade, SVUK has been transforming and providing its members with useful forum to share experience and join cultural and sports activities while studying in the country.   

In its recent congress, LSE’s student Truong Hoang Dong voted as SVUK’s new president termed 2015-2016.
