Honoring 122 outstanding ethnic minority students
Web.HCYU.08/11/2015. Hanoi – Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated an honoring ceremony for outstanding ethnic minority students 2015.

This is the annual activity hosted by the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs to honor outstanding students who overcome difficulties and obtained remarkable results during the academic year of 2015.
There are 122 ethnic students in which 105 acquired national prizes; 02 top scores of university entrance exams; 15 students achieved more than 27 points in the exams to enter universities or colleges.
The outstanding students are ethnic minorities of Tày, Nùng, Mường, Hoa, Thái, Mông, Sán Dìu, Dáy, Hà Nhì, Lô Lô, Dao, Dáy, Mnông from all over Vietnam.
Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated that the ceremony was to honor the talents and the future of the country. He congratulated the ethnic students and highly praised their accomplishments. The deputy PM suggested that the students should continue working hard and train themselves to contribute into the development of the country.
On this occasion, the deputy minister suggested provinces having ethnic minorities, and education and people agencies followed the Resolution No 8 of the Party Central Executive Committee on renewing comprehensively education and training system, cultivating and improved the quality of teaching and learning; continued to build a team of teachers meeting requirements on environment, and demand of pupils; teaching method and materials, presentations combining between theory and practice to improve quality of teaching and learning among schools.
