Urban civilization is the focus of the Youth Month
Web.HCYU.03/03/2014. The launching ceremony of the Youth Month held at the Hoang Quoc Viet – Buoi roundabout (Cau Giay Dist., Hanoi), one of the environmentally concerned areas. Other 2014 youth month activities are also organized in various places in Hanoi City.

Exchange with Thanh Nien newspaper, the HCYU Secretary Nguyen Manh Dung shared “Programs and activities in Youth Month 2014 surround the theme “Youth participate in building urban civilization. In which the HCYU Central continues select five youth forces from the top five cities youth unions: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hai Phong, Can Tho and Da Nang, implement pilot youth models of youth for urban civilization”. Mr Dung shared key feature of this year Youth Month campaign is the union members of urban areas register their own works, youth projects to advance urban civilization. In previous years, there are many campaigns with huge launching but did not leave anything significant behind. “This year, from the very beginning, youth unions must register detailed projects for youth to participate, and each project comes with specific tasks to targeted locations and beneficiaries”, Mr Dung comments.
