The Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee visited the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh

On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find the way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2021), this morning (June 5), the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee laid a wreath and visited the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh.

At the ceremony, the delegates expressed their gratitude and respectfully remembered the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader and beloved teacher of the Party and our nation. He sacrificed his whole life for the cause of the struggle for national liberation, unification, and building an independent and unified Viet Nam. The delegation's wreath bore the words "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, First Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee said: The young generation of Vietnam today continues the glorious tradition of their previous generations. They are making their journeys to establish themmself, establish their careers, and dedicate themself to the mighty Vietnamese Fatherland, contributing to the realization of the country's development goals by 2030 and a vision to 2045.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan also said that in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the HCYU Central Committee could not organize in-person activities to celebrate this event, but organized many online activities, such as the "Youth Journey" that will take place at 3pm this afternoon, broadcast online on the Fanpages of the HCYU, the Department of Education and Publicity, the HCYU of Ho Chi Minh City and shared on social networks of the Youth Union at all levels.

On this occasion, the HCYU at all levels also organized many political activities to learn about the event; building propaganda publications visually and on social networks; organizing the launching of emulation movements, revolutionary action programs, creating an atmosphere of emulation and training to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style on this anniversary.

After visiting the Mausoleum, the delegation offered incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at House 67 in the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace./.
