The delegation of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization donated VND 8.8 billion as a support for COVID-19 prevention and protection in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces

On June 3, the delegation of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization, led by Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization visited and presented gifts for Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces, encouraging their tremendous pandemic controlling and repelling efforts.
Accompanying the delegation were members of the Party Central Committee: Ms. Ha Thi Nga, President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Luong Quoc Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmer’s; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee together with leaders of the General Confederation of Labor, Veterans Association and Vietnam Red Cross Society.
Bac Giang’s representatives receiving the delegation and attending the working session included: Mr. Duong Van Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Le Thi Thu Hong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Tran Cong Thang, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Pham Van Thinh, Head of the Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization and representative leaders of certain provincial departments, agencies and unions.
As reported by Mr. Duong Van Thai, more than 2,700 F0 and 18,000 F1 cases had been confirmed within provincial area to date, 59 patients had been discharged from the hospital after recovery, and 187 patients had initially tested negative. Currently, the province had permitted the reopening of 15 eligible businesses and had given 66.5 thousand doses of vaccine for frontline medical forces combating the pandemic and workers in the industrial parks…
At the meeting, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed a deep empathy with the authority and local residents about as regards the enormous challenges of fighting Covid 19, while requiring the province to proactively response to the outbreak in lieu of being neglectful or complacent. Additionally, on behaft of her organization, she granted Bac Giang province approximately VND 5.3 billion, including 680 million VND of the Central Division for Mass Mobilization, also goods and necessities to assist the frontline forces in battling the pandemic.
Receiving and working with the delegation were: Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; cadres in the Provincial Standing Party Committee; leaders of relevant Departments and sectors.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee of Bac Ninh, the Secretary stated that as of 6:00 am of June 3, the entire province had recorded 974 cases of COVID-19 infection in 8/8 districts, towns and cities with 150 outbreaks and over 250 cases identified among workers of 61 businesses.
Given the simultaneous deployment of drastic solutions, effective contact tracing measures, as well as timely zoning and isolation practices, the pandemic outbreak has been contained and properly controlled.
On this occasion, the delegation also granted Bac Ninh province VND 680 million in cash and necessities worth more than VND 3.5 billion to empower and operate in tandem with the locality on the control and eradication of COVID-19.
