Supporting young people to start creative businesses

Web.HCYU.13/5/2021. As the leader of Vietnamese youth, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan has devoted a lot of enthusiasm and interest in supporting and developing start-up activities for young people (especially young people in Thu Duc City) in the contents of HCYU Central Committee’s action programs.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nguyen, a student, a member of the Council of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, said that with the fact that the level of Vietnamese youth was increasing, especially students aged 18-22, promoting activities such as thinking new, creating and realizing ideas is an urgent task. As a young man in the renewal phase of the country, Mr. Nguyen strongly agreed with the need for a support mechanism as well as a start-up fund for young people in the early stages of their career that Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan mentioned.

Before the thoughts of young voters, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan shared that he always paid special attention to young people's startup and innovation issues. “I strive to do the above things not only as the responsibility of the People's representative but also as the obligation to contribute, as the grateful wish of a young person to be elected in the young city - Thu Duc city".

Referring to the reasons why he decided to include the issue of youth entrepreneurship in the content of current action programs, Mr. Tuan said that the Prime Minister had launched a national entrepreneurship program, setting goals for 2030 business development and the P.M also directly attended and directed the youth entrepreneurship program in 2016. On that basis, the HCYU Central Committee issued a program to support youth start-ups which has been included in the resolution of the 11th National Youth Union Congress, and one of the key tasks of this term is also to support young people in starting a business.

When young voters paid a lot of attention to the youth startup support fund outlined in the action plan, Mr. Tuan elaborated: “We are determined to launch the Youth Start-up Fund this year. The fund will be established to support capital for potential start-up projects; supporting technical, financial, legal, brand, and market access issues through training and consulting activities for start-up projects that have received capital support. In addition, the fund will be a bridge to raise capital and call for investment from organizations and individuals, angel funds, venture capital funds for youth start-up projects.
