Bringing warmish Tet Holiday to the soldiers and students at border areas

In the evening of January 3rd, the mission of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCYU CC) led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Permanent Secretary of the HCYU, President of Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) had visited and sent New Year wishes to the border soldiers at Co Ba Frontier Post (Bao Lac District, Cao Bang Province) as well as giving presents to the students of Co Ba Primary School.

Co Ba Frontier Post is now in charge of 19.080 kilometers of the border with 33 milestones which belong to Co Ba Commune and Thuong Ha (Bao Lac) Commune. Over the years, the officers and soldiers here have always completed the mission effectively and contributed to the safety of the border area. They have not only consolidated the national sovereignty of the border security but also maintained the relationship between people and soldiers by helping local people do business and check-up so as they can enjoy a safe and happy Tet Holiday.

Speaking at the meet and greet, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan was very delighted and emotional when being able to visit and send New Year wishes to the officers, soldiers and students at Co Ba Frontier Post. 

Upon witnessing the positive change of Co Ba border area, he also had a sincere respect for the officers and soldiers here who have made such great efforts to tackle all challenges and continued to help local people suffer difficulties. 

Besides, he also encouraged officers and soldiers at Co Ba Frontier Post to continue enhancing the quality of Ho Chi Minh soldiers, the border guards’ tradition and fulfilling the assigned missions. These are said to strengthen the belief of people towards the Party along with the border development and stability.

On this occasion, the mission gave presents and warm clothes to officers, soldiers of Co Ba Frontier Post and students of Co Ba Primary School. Especially, the students also received a twenty-five-million-Vietnam dong present to build a playground.

Furthermore, the mission carried out a lot of meaningful social activities such as sponsoring two-hundred million Vietnam dong to construct the cultural house in Ban Phuong Hamlet, Khanh Xuan Commune, Bao Lac District and offering a forty-million-Vietnam dong house to Mr. Na Van San and his family who belong to the ethnic group called Lo Lo.



Particularly, the “Loving Spring” Program was held in Bao Lac Ethnic Boarding-school with many activities including making Chung cake, giving stationary and warm clothes as presents for 297 students, and organizing “0 dong Spring Market” stall to offer New Year presents to local people …
