Eight groups and thirteen individuals received Vu A Dinh prize

Since its establishment in March 5th 1999, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund have given 80.000 scholarships, held hundreds of activities, becoming great source of motivation to ethnic minority students all over the country.

On May 22nd in Hanoi, Young Pioneer Newspaper and Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund held a ten-year-anniverary of Vu A Dinh Prize and also 2019 prize-giving ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Mr.Vo Van Thuong- Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education; Ms.Truong My Hoa -Former Secretary of the PCC and Former Vice President of State and Chairman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Mr.Le Quoc Phong-First Secretary of HCYU, Alternate Member of the PCC, Central Chairman of Vietnam Youth Union. Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan- Permanent Secretary of HCYU.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mrs.Truong My Hoa said that the Fund, which was established in 1999, aims to support outstanding poor ethnic minority students. In 2009, the Fund officially promulgated Vu A Dinh prize- the noble prize for individuals with outstanding achievements in learning, studying, performance, sports,etc.

Mr.Le Quoc Phong, First Secretary of HCYU gave Vu A Dinh prize credit for the youth and the country. He hopes that the prize will keep spearding and outstanding youth, especially who live in remote areas, seas and islands will be found and cited.

At the ceremony, the Organization Board awarded 8 groups and 13 individuals.
