Continue to improve substantial effects of Youth Union's movements and activities.

On April 23th in Hanoi, the Central Steering Committee’s Missions led by Mrs.Truong Thi Mai, member of Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and head of the PCC’s Commission for Mass Mobilization had a meeting with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union about 10-year-summary of implementing Politburo’s Conclusion No.62/KL-TW.

Also attended there were Mr. Hau A Lenh, member of PCC, Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committtee (VFFCC); Mrs.Le Thu Ha, member of PCC, President of Vietnam Women’s Union, Mr.Le Quoc Phong, Alternate Member of the PCC of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth-Union, First Secretary of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, Central Chairman of Vietnam Youth Union and other Secretaries as well as Membes of PCC.

At the meeting, participants listened to the summary report of 10 years implementing Conclusion No.62-KL-TW about continuing to innovate content and operating methods of Vietnam Fatherland Front and political-social organizations.

According to the Summary, in the past ten years, Youth Union at all levels have found specific and practical solutions to innovate and enhance the effect of movements and action programs. Those movements and campaigns increasingly become close to reality and promote the role of youth. Uniting and gathering Youth are diversified, focusing on localities and towards youth’s legitimate aspirations.

Organizational structure is strengthened regularly and timely. Policies for HCYU officers are more and more concerned and improved.

Participants also had a frank exchange of views to clarify limitations of Conclusion No.62 KL-TW. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Quoc Phong affirmed that, HCYU programs and activities always attach special importance to the three factors: diversity, practicality and highlight.

Mrs. Truong Thi Mai appreciated HCYU’s efforts to implement the Conclusion No.62. HCYU needs to connect strongly, profoundly and effectively youth on social media and in reality.
