Tet at the border areas

Web.HCYU.31.01.2019. Lang Son – A meaningful program for the soldiers and people at the border areas was organized on the evening 30 January 2019 in Quoc Khanh commune, Trang Dinh district by the Military Youth Department in coordination with the Political Department of Military Region 1, Political Bureau of Border Guard, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union and other youth organizations.

Attending the event includes Madam Truong My Hoa, Former Vice President of Vietnam, Chairwoman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; Le Quoc Phong, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of Vietnam Youth Federation; Lieutenant-General Mr. Le Hien Van, Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau of the People's Army of Vietnam; Major General Mr. Phung Quoc Tuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard; Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council of Lang Son province, along with many representatives of central and local agencies.

This program is a practical activity to celebrate the 89th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, welcoming the Traditional New Year 2019, the General Department of Politics of the People's Army of Vietnam instructs the Military Youth Department to coordinate with relevant agencies and units, implemented at 350 points in remote, border and island areas across the country, with many social security activities, contributing to a warm spring of military and civilian relation.

In the days of the Vietnamese New Year, there will be hundreds of youth works and activities with thousands of meaningful gifts given to related agencies, units and localities.

This is a activity of profound social and political significance that expresses the traditional nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and attachment of the soldiers and civilian, maintaining political stability and social order and safety, boosting economic development, building a rich and civilized homeland, building and defending the nation said Lieutenant General Le Hien Van at the event.
