HCYU Secretariat member attended school opening ceremony in Cao Bang Province

Cao Bang – Joining the nationwide spirit of celebrating the new school year, a delegation led by the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Mr. Bui Quang Huy attended the opening ceremony at Po Tau High School in the Trung Khanh District of mountainous province of Cao Bang.

During year of 2017 - 2018,  Po Tau High School had 347 pupils of Tay, Nung ethnic minorities. Over the year, the school teachers and pupils had always tried to achieve academic achievements in exams of all levels and the national high school graduation exam.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Mr Nong Ma Hap, Deputy headmaster of Po Tau high school called for all staffs and teachers to strive to overcome difficulties, uphold strengths and achievements of the past years to move forward with outstanding results.

On this occasion, the HCYU Central Committee donated 02 sets of computers, 01 printer, 01 projector, 200 books, 400 Vietnam youth shirts for teachers and students of Po Tau high school.

In addition, HCYU Secretary Bui Quang Huy, on behalf of the Central Youth Union, granted 20 “Vu A Dinh” scholarships to underprivileged and disadvantaged pupils to help them study well in the new school year.
