CLV young entrepreneurs’ cooperation meeting

Siem Reap, Cambodia – Vietnamese young entrepreneurs delegation led by HCYU permanent secretary Nguyen Manh Dung attended the Cambodia – Laos – Vietnam (CLV) youth cooperation meeting in the heritage city of Siem Reap, Cambodia. This year’s meeting, under theme “from young entrepreneurship to investment opportunities”, held from 12-14/11/2015.

The conference was organized as an effort of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia in promoting youth cooperation among three neighboring countries.

The Vietnamese youth delegation joined discussions on business investment opportunities in domestic and foreign context as well as possibilities of trading among the three countries. During the course of the meeting, the delegates paid a courtesy call to chairman of Siem Reap and visited popular relic sites of Cambodia.

Addressing the meeting, Mr Nguyen Manh Dung stressed that Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia are increasingly integrated into the region and the world. There are enormous opportunities and challenges to the entrepreneurship development.

As statistics shown, Laos and Cambodia are attractive destinations for Vietnamese enterprises, accounted for some 35% total foreign investment of Vietnam.

Over the past years, the young entrepreneurship cooperation has accomplished encouraging results and it is worth to push further the cooperation, not only among the three countries but also in ASEAN.
