Sixty-four savings accounts given to teachers

Web.HCYU. 12/11/2015. Ha Noi – Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF), Thien Long Group co-host an program named “sharing with teachers 2015”. VYF’s president Nguyen Phi Long has chaired the gathering.

The event is organized to support and encourage the teachers who have significantly contributed to the Vietnamese education.

Addressing the gathering, the youth federation’s president shared that he was very honored and happy to receive 64 teachers as students nationwide are preparing for the Teachers’ Day, cerebrated on the 20/11 each year. Every day, the teachers living in the remote and mountainous areas have to face enormous challenges, they have to give up their youth and voluntarily work in the disadvantaged regions of the country to educate people, contribute to the eradication of illiteracy. The teachers are exemplars for students and regard with greatest respect, said Mr Nguyen Phi Long.

On behalf of the organizer, the youth leader sent his best wishes to the teachers and praised the teachers for their great contribution into the country’s education. The work of teachers is honorable as it brings up good citizens to the society.

At the end of the program, the organizing committee presents 64 books of savings accounts worth of 10 million VND to the teachers of impoverished districts. The committee also sent 280 blankets (worth 56 million VND) to school pupils from the districts.
