Prime Minister holds working session with Youth Union Central Committee

Web.HCYU.01/4/2015. Hanoi - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung chaired a working session with the leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in afternoon of 31/3/2015, on the Joint Resolution No 01 and Conclusions of the Prime Minister at the last meeting in 2014.

Present the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and leaders of various governmental agencies and organizations.

At the meeting, First Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh reports to the PM the youth movements and tasks during 2014 and presents four key proposals for youth movements and development.

On behalf of the Government, the PM praises the countless effort made by the Youth Union in fulfilling its tasks and contributing significantly in the overall development of Vietnam.    

At the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung suggests to the Youth Union that it needs to continue to promote the traditions of being the vanguards, encourage the youth to actively participate in the country’s socio-economic development; at the same time, it acts for the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese youth. The PM emphasizes that learning is very important to young people. Thus, the youth union should well coordinate with related government bodies to create healthy learning environment and create more learning opportunities for the youth to develop in their study, research and nurture their own aspirations and talents.
