Youth to use electricity safely and effectively
Web.HCYU.24/3/2014. Hanoi, the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and the Central of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union have signed a cooperative agreement on educating and encouraging youth to consume electricity safely and effectively, period of 2014-2015.
Attending the signing ceremony includes Mr Bui Van Cuong, alternate member of the CPV, Secretary of the Party commission for central agencies, Dr Nguyen Dac Vinh, alternate member of the CPV, First Secretary of the HCYU central, Mr Cao Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade, Mr Pham Le Thanh, Director General of the EVN, and leaders of the concerned departments and EVN.

The agreement signed with objectives of promoting education and popularization, raising awareness of safe and effective electricity usages for sustainable development, making it the daily habit among youth and community.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr Nguyen Dac Vinh shared over the past years the HCYU has coordinated to implement a number of constructions such as: Ca Mau hydro electricity, lightening country roads ensuring right quality and meeting deadline. The HCYU commits putting effort in educating youth and citizens consume electric safely and effectively.
Under the cooperation framework and work plan, the EVN and HCYU will simultaneously coordinate the implementation. The youth union also set up the instructions to organizations within its system from top to bottom level. The provincial and municipal unions actively cooperate with EVN to implement contents of the plan according to guidance of EVN and the HCYU.
