Exchange with young farm owners
Web.HCYU.27/5/2013 - Yen Bai city, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central organized an exchange program for young farm owners within the framework of the meeting of young farm northern mountainous provinces.
At the meeting, attending members have opportunities to exchange with experts and share their experiences in the management, operation and organizations. Present were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung, an agricultural experts, Ms Tran Thi Thuan Hoa, one of the 2012 Vietnamese young faces.

Having spent 4 years working overseas, Ms Hoa decided to return her hometown of Thai Binh province and take the time to learn and develop a pig growing model aiming at the Southeast Asia market. Joining this event, she seeks advice from Prof Hung on how to develop an economic model of farm, which is more efficient.

In the exchange, the young farmers exchange view with Bo Xuan Tan, a classroom teacher, due to family circumstances, he returned home to develop a synthesis farming model at his village in Viet Cuong commune, Tran Yen Dist., Yen Bai. Over 5 years, Mr Tan has owned over 27 hectares of forest land, 1.5 ha of ponds, over 200 original dragon-fruits and a farm of 50-100 pigs.

In recognition of the outstanding achievements of young farmers, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee decided to award to 31 individuals of outstanding achievements in the youth established movement.
