82 young excellent labourers honoured

Web.HCYU.07/05/2013 - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on May 5 held a ceremony to honour 82 young excellent labourers nationwide who have high skills, excellent working achievements and creative ideas and initiatives applied during production and study. Source: CPV.

Speaking during the ceremony, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Manh Dung said that these 82 faces came from different parts of the country, but shared the common characteristics of excellent young labourers who always actively study, promote creativity and strive for higher professional capability in technical and economic sectors.

He stressed that each excellent labourer was a bright example who expanded the noble value of labour to communities, contributing to building the young generation's love for occupation, creativity, and patience for national development. “They help to encourage Vietnamese young people to work and  boost creativity,” he said.

They included Dang Hung Cuong who won third prize in the world office informatics competition in 2012, Lieutenant Ngo Ba Tuan Anh from the Ministry of National Defence who had many effective architectural solutions to large construction projects, Tran Van Dieu, a disabled craftsman from Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province who founded a company and created jobs for other disabled friends.Another disabled labourer who created jobs for over 200 disabled people, Le Hong Son said that disabled people were not allowed to give up, but should strive to win their destiny and gain success.

This was the fourth time young excellent labourers were honoured.
