The HCYU receives the OISCA International's representatives

Web.HCYU.30/01/2013 - Permanent Secretary of the HCYU, President of Vietnam Youth Federation, Mr Phan Van Mai welcomed and worked with Mr Toshihiro Nakano, Executive Vice President of OISCA International, Japan at the HCYU's headquarters on 29 Jan 2013.

Also attended the meeting were Mr Nguyen Phuoc Loc, former president of the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF); Ms Pham Thi Phuong Chi, member of the HCYU Standing Committee, Head of the HCYU’s International Department, Director of CYDECO; Mr Nguyen Ba Tinh, Deputy Head of the Mobilization and Solidarity Department, Executive Vice President of the Vietnamese Young Physicians Association; Ms Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Deputy Head of the Mobilization and Solidarity Department, Chief of the Vietnam Youth Federation’s Office along with the members of the OISCA International, the HCYU, VFY and the media.

On behalf of the HCYU and the VYF, Mr Phan Van Mai expressed his warm welcome to the OISCA International representatives and shared the experience and good practices in the youth development activities of the youth Union.

The two sides then discussed projects concerning apprenticeship and job search skills training for Vietnamese youth. Besides, the top leaders agreed to let the Youth International Cooperation Development Center (CYDECO) be main coordinating organization regarding the collaboration between the HCYU and OISCA International.

OISCA International was established in 1961 and has headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. OISCA's main activities include community and human resource development through capacity building, agriculture and environmental conservation and restoration.
