Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Exchange Program 2021

On the morning of October 31st, the Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Exchange Program 2021 concluded after 2 days of various joint activities. The program was opened in online form at many bridge points in both countries.

At the closing ceremony, Ms. Trinh Thi Mai Phuong - Member of the Central Executive Committee, Acting Head of International Department of HCYU Central Committee stated that after 2 exciting, effective and meaningful working days, the Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Exchange Program in 2021 ended as a great success.

Within the framework of the program, outstanding youth delegates from the two countries exchanged experiences on the traditional friendship and culture between the two Parties, States and people with scholars and researchers within the theme “From cultural similarities to cooperation for development”, discussed issues that both countries concern such as: Preserving and promoting tradition, friendship, solidarity and development cooperation between Vietnam and China.

Besides, the outstanding youth delegates from the two countries exchanged experiences on organizing youth volunteer activities for the community, social security, especially participating in the prevention and controlling of the COVID-19 pandemic; necessary skills for the youth of the two countries in the context of deep international integration; effective models and ways of doing “I Love My Country” movement of Vietnamese youth and a series of practical activities “I Work Practically For The Masses” of Chinese youth.

“I believe that the experiences and information that we have exchanged in the last two days will be a treasure for us, our comrades and colleagues, and the International Department of the HCYU Central Committee. These sincere sharing will enable us to better advise Secretariat of CYLC Central Committee and  Secretariat of CYLC Central Committee on practical contents in the youth cooperation of the two countries in the coming time, to match the aspirations, needs and legitimate interests of Vietnam - China Youth,” Ms. Phuong said.

The Central Committee of HCYU’s Head of International Department also suggested the two countries’ youth to stay in touch, continue implementing the discussed contents, and agree on actions at this Program to express the role, mission and responsibility of our new generation in preserving and promoting the good traditional friendship between the Party, State and people of the two countries, Vietnam - China, in the most positive way.

“In the context of many changes in the international and regional situation, the increasing requirements of The Industrial Revolution 4.0, Vietnamese youth are always ready to join hands with Chinese youth to carry out the mission of preserving and further promoting the precious tradition of friendship, “both comrades and brothers”, painstakingly cultivated by senior leaders, for the benefit of the two nations, and for peace and stability of the region and in the world”, Mr. Phuong emphasized.

[Taking place from October 29th to 31st, the Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Exchange was attended by representatives of leaders of the Central Committee of HCYU and the Central Committee of CYLC, representatives of youth leaders, and more than 90 delegates who are outstanding youth, students and diplomats of the two countries.

Within the framework of the program, an exchange between Vietnam - China youth and students with Vietnamese - Chinese language and culture scholars and researchers took place with the theme: “From cultural similarities to cooperation for mutual development” and shared 04 topics: Theme No.1: Vietnamese - Chinese youth join hands to cultivate friendship and solidarity; Theme 2: Vietnamese - Chinese youth participate in the prevention of COVID-19; Theme 3: Necessary skills for Vietnamese - Chinese youth in the context of deep international integration; Theme 4: Effective models and ways of doing the “I Love My Country” movement of Vietnamese youth and a series of practical activities “I Work Practically For The Masses” of Chinese youth.]
