Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee received emulation flag of the leading collective in people-to-people relations

Web.HCYU.06/01/2020. On January 6th, 2020, in Hanoi, the Central Commission of Foreign Relations held a Conference to summarize the people's external affairs in 2019 and deploy tasks in 2020.

Ms. Truong Thi Mai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Hoang Binh Quân, Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations; Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phong, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations co-hosted the Conference. 

Attending the Conference were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lương, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) and leaders, representatives of units engaged in people's external affairs at the central level.

According to the Summary Report and the speeches of the delegates attending the Conference, in 2019, the people's external relations activities are generally carried out actively and effectively with many significant meaningful activities. In addition to smooth coordination among units, many complex and sensitive activities have been guided carefully, bringing fruitful results.

In the context when the international and regional situation continues to affect the process of international integration and national development, Ms. Truong Thi Mai proposed continuing to expand and improve the quality of the political system's participation in people's external relations with the core role of the Central Committee the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations. Ensuring the unified leadership of the Party, promoting the motto "Active, flexible, creative, effective" of the people’s foreign affairs.

At the Conference, the HCYU Central Committee received the emulation flag of the title Leading Collective in people-to-people relations in the field of peace, solidarity, and friendship in 2019.
