Vietnamese delegation completed the 2012 ASEAN-China Youth Camp

Web.HCYU. 06 December 2012. Ten young representatives from different places of Vietnam were carefully chosen to participate in the 7th China-ASEAN Youth Camp, held in Beijing and Nanning, China from November 17 to November 24, 2012.

They were of different ages, came from different provinces or cities of Vietnam, did different jobs but carried the same mission of representing Vietnam youths attending the camp.

The delegation leader, Mr. Phuong Dinh Anh, was the Vice head of Rural Youth Department. Thanks to his talented leading potentials and sociable characteristics, Vietnamese delegation has achieved a great success in enhancing knowledge, improving all-round skills, promoting for Vietnamese culture images and especially, foreign affairs. Vietnamese delegation has been highly appreciated in this aspect by other delegations from ASEAN and particularly the host, Chinese organizers.

Like every other delegation, Vietnamese delegation participated actively in all events. In conferences, Vietnamese delegation successfully contributes to raise critical opinions in unemployment, entrepreneurship, urbanization and youth work.

In field trips, all 10 members had chance to visit the Forbidden City, Great Wall of China, Virtue Inno Valley, Exhibition of New and High-tech Development of Nanning, Guangxi Planning Exhibition Hall and Nanning International Conventional Center. Via these field trips, Vietnamese attendees could enhance their background knowledge in accordance with these places, which was hoped to help much for their work when coming back to Vietnam.

Especially on this occasion, Vietnamese delegation also carried out a significant mission, which was visiting to Guangxi International Youth Exchange Institute to celebrate the Institute’s tenth-year establishment anniversary.

Also, Vietnamese delegation also had great honor to meet and congratulate the Institute’s leaders. President and Vice-presidents of the Institute formally welcomed the delegation.

Mr. Phuong Dinh Anh, delegation leader, trainee at the Institute’s 4th course, read the congratulation letter and present the gift from Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to Guangxi International Youth Exchange Institute.

Of all achievements that the Vietnam team got this time, victory in foreign affairs seems to be the most exceptional one. The friendliness, carefulness, sociability, helpfulness and hard-working of all Vietnamese members have created great impression on other delegations as well as the host.

Especially with Lao delegation, Vietnamese delegation was hand-in-hand with solidarity and helpfulness in every circumstance. Moreover, the two delegations had hosted a friendly party in Nanning to contribute to consolidate and enhance the already-remarkable mutual relationship between two countries.

Thorughout the trip, Vietnamese participants had chance to make new friends as well as understand each other more thoroughly. Furthermore, the trip has been very successful in almost every aspect and participants could learn much from the trip.

Last but not least, on behalf of the participants, the writer would like to express his most sincere gratitude to Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union creating a invaluable chance for all of the participants to learn more. It is also hoped that more trips like this would be created so that many more youths across Vietnam could have chance to manifest the beauty of Vietnamese country and people to friends all over the world.
